7th ICEC World Congress & 14th PAQS Congress: 23-27 July 2010, Singapore

Dear ICEC Member Associations, Delegates and Colleagues,

Happy new year to you all!

I would like to remind you that the revised date for the joint 2010 ICEC & PAQS World Congress has been confirmed as 23-27 July 2010. It will be held at the ‘Resorts World Sentosa’ in Singapore (www.rwsentosa.com).

A flyer for the Congress is attached (along with my covering letter). I would appreciate it if you could help promote the Congress by forwarding this flyer to members of your association and any other colleagues, associations or other parties that may be interested in the event. It would also be great if you could include information about the Congress on your association's website and in any other publications/newsletters that you deem appropriate.

The hosts and organisers for the event are the Singapore Institute of Surveyors & Valuers (SISV) (www.sisv.org.sg). The Pacific Association of Quantity Surveyors (PAQS) (www.paqs.net) and the International Cost Engineering Council (ICEC) (www.icoste.org) are working closely with the SISV to assist in the organisation of the event.

The ICEC community is encouraged to submit papers for presentation at the Congress. A call for abstract submissions is currently in place. Please note that the original deadline of 31 December 2009 for abstract submissions has been extended to 1 February 2010. Abstracts should be submitted via email to the SISV at judy@sisv.org.sg.

We hope that you will support the SISV, PAQS and ICEC and consider attending this important global event for the Quantity Surveying and Cost Engineering profession.
